Los padres de familia tienen el mayor rol de la formación religiosa de sus hijos en el entorno familiar. La Iglesia ve este rol de los padres como un privilegio y una responsabilidad. Al apoyar a los padres de familia a trasmitir la fe a la siguiente generación creemos que cumplimos la misión de la Iglesia.

Programa

El Programa de Catequesis está diseñado para que los niños aprendan los pilares básicos de su fe incorporando elementos culturales importantes para la comunidad latina, por ejemplo, la celebración de la posada navideña y la integración de los padrinos dentro de la Celebracion de Primera Comunion.

El programa comienza el 5 de Septiembre 2025 y finaliza el 17 de Mayo 2026. Las sesiones de Catequesis se ofrecen en las instalaciones de la escuela.

Preparación Sacramental

La preparación para la Primera Comunion en un proceso de dos años. Los niños asistirán semanalmente a sus sesiones y una vez al mes los padres de familia asistirán a Catequesis Familiar programadas durante el curso. Las catequesis familiares son una oportunidad que se ofrece a los padres de familia para que interactúen con sus hijos mientras aprenden juntos. El acompañamiento de los padres les ayuda mucho a los niños durante su preparación sacramental. 

Registraciones

Las registraciones ya están disponibles en línea o en horario de oficina. Se requiere la copia del certificado de Bautismo o si el niño fue bautizado aquí en St. Patrick por favor necesitamos que llene la forma correspondiente. Las familias que se registren para el programa deberán registrarse en la parroquia también. Si no estan registrados en la parroquia, llene esta forma.

Costo y Pagos

El costo para el curso escolar 2025 - 2026 por niño/a es de $120.00. Para la preparación a la Primera Comunión habrá una cuota adicional de $30.00. La cuota deberá pagarse a la hora de registrarse. Por favor comuníquese con nosotros si necesita pagar en abonos.

Parents have the greatest role of their children’s religious formation in the family environment. The Church sees this role of parents as a privilege and a responsibility. By supporting parents to transmit faith to the next generation, we believe that we fulfill the mission of the Church.

Program

The Catechesis Program is designed for children to learn the fundamental pillars of their faith while incorporating cultural elements essential to the Latino community, such as the celebration of the Christmas Posada and the integration of godparents into the First Communion celebration.

The program begins on September 5, 2025, and ends on May 17, 2026. Catechesis sessions are offered on school premises.



Sacramental Preparation

Preparation for First Communion is a two-year process. Children will attend weekly sessions, and parents will attend Family Catechism sessions scheduled during the school year once a month. Family catechism sessions are an opportunity for parents to interact with their children while learning together. Parental support greatly helps children during their sacramental preparation.

Registrations

Registrations are now available online or during business hours. A copy of baptism certificate is required or if the child was baptized at St. Patrick, please fill out this form. Families registering for the program must register as members of the parish as well. To register click here.

Cost and Payments

The cost for the 2025 - 2026 school year per child is $120.00. For preparation to the First Communion there will be an additional fee of $30.00. The fee must be paid at the time of registration. Please contact us if you would prefer to make a payment plan.
