Parish Groups
Altar Society
The Altar Society keeps the altar, vestments, and holy vessels in a state of cleanliness
and repair. Interested members meet to plan the Christmas Boutique/Bazaar and the Easter
Boutique and Cake Sale, and occasionally to assemble "goodie bags" (an assortment of personal
hygiene items) for the needy. Meetings are held monthly expect during the summer.
Bingo
Over the past 30 years, the Saint Patrick Social Club has raised more than one million
dollars to support Catholic education at Saint Patrick School, and nearly one million
more for other ministries in the parish. Our friendly volunteer staff welcomes you to
our games. You can serve our parish community as a volunteer, or just by attending
this smoke-free social event on Friday evenings.
Faith and Justice (760-845-0871)
The Faith and Justice group strives to respond to the need for justice in our world by advocating, promoting,
strengthening, and integrating the social teachings of the church at the parish level. We seek to raise the awareness
for needs of the poor and marginalized in our community and beyond. Together we believe that with prayer
and action we can make a difference.
Prayer Groups
The mission of Saint Patrick Holy Spirit Prayer Group is to worship God in prayer, song, teaching,
and discussion. Our ministry is to pray and intercede for the prayer requests of the members and
parishioners. We welcome everyone to our meetings each Monday at 7:00 p.m. at the Parish Library.
Serra Club
The Serra Club for men and women is "the vocation arm of the Church". Join us to pray and work
for vocations to the priesthood and religious life. We attend Mass before our monthly breakfast
meeting. An evening meeting is also held each month.
Small Christian Communities (760-434-9815)
These are groups of parishioners who meet regularly in homes for the purpose of studying the upcoming Sunday
Gospel and applying it to their lives. The group provides opportunities for prayer, reflection, community
and social activities. New people are always welcome. This is a good way to feel more connected to the parish.
St. Patrick Singles (760-434-9413)
The singles group is a contemporary circle of Cathoic men and women, ages 50 and up, who are single or single again.
The group was formed to acknowledge the challenge of living the single life in today’s world by offering topics
and events that address the following five values: the spiritual, intellectual, practical, social and charitable.
Join this group if you are interested in meeting like-minded people.
